TIPS & TRICKS

If your necklace/bracelet becomes tangled up or knotted, use a spray of windex or oil on the knot, place it into a sealed container and set the container on top of something that vibrates, a washing machine or dryer would do the trick. The vibration should loosen the knot making it easier to untangle.

STAINLESS STEEL Care

“One of the most important facts about stainless steel jewelry is that it is eco-friendly. This is because manufacturers avoid using too much primary energy and save on non-renewable sources. Stainless steel also produces less waste during manufacturing compared to other metals. Stainless steel is 100% recyclable.”

.Stainless steel is a hypoallergenic metal which, in turn, means it has no impurities to trigger skin irritation or flare ups. Basically, it will not leave a green mark on your skin after you remove your jewelry.

.It is an alloy that blends chromium, titanium and nickel which makes it incredibly durable and will last a lifetime.

.OUR stainless-steel jewelry is NOT nickel free. We use two common grades of stainless steel in our jewelry, which are 304L which has about 8% nickel and 316L which has about 11% nickel.

.Stainless steel is resistant to rust, discolouration, and oxidization. It is also scratch resistant unless the stainless steel has plating (gold or silver plating) which then, the scratch will need to be buffed out with a cloth or other polishing treatment.

. No need for special expensive polishes, a little dish soap and warm water will keep your stainless-steel jewelry in pristine condition. Simply use a soft cloth after her rinse to bring back her shiny beauty.

.Safety: Stainless steel can be cut off in case of an emergency. Regular cutting tools will easily break it away. Stainless steel is also known to be a poor conductor of electricity and only conducts about 16volts whereas gold conducts approximately 310 volts and silver at 429 volts.

TITANIUM STEEL Care

. Resistant to bending, scratching, and cracking. It is tarnish resistant as well as rust resistant. Any stones set in titanium steel are more resistant to loosening over time.

. Light weight metal but is three to four times stronger than stainless steel.

. Titanium steel is safe to wear in water because it is an inert metal, meaning it will not react to water or your body’s natural chemistry. Titanium is also non-reactive with salt (water) or sunlight so you will not have to worry about these elements breaking down any aspect of your titanium jewelry.

. Cleaning titanium steel is easy and effortless. Some warm water and dish soap will bring back her natural luster. No need for fancy polishes or creams.

FRESHWATER PEARL Care

. Never clean your freshwater pearl jewelry in an ultrasonic or steam cleaner, instead gently clean each pearl using a soft, damp cloth or a microfibre jewelry cloth to remove surface debris that can accumulate when you wear it. You should do this as soon as you take off your pearl jewelry and before storing it. Every order of freshwater pearls will receive a complimentary cleaning cloth.

. A drop of olive oil on the cloth can be used to help maintain the lustre of your freshwater pearls.

. Never wear your pearls in the bath or shower and always take them off and store them safely before going into a sauna or steam room. Never wear pearls while swimming in a pool or large body of water. Whenever possible, never get your pearls wet.

CASHMERE SCARF Care

. Carefully handwash your scarf using a delicate shampoo such as baby shampoo. Soak your cashmere in cold water, never HOT water and gently wash the item. Do not stretch or scrub while washing ---- an easy messaging will do. Rinse the garment and lay flat or hang to dry.
